God whispered this calling into my heart months ago.
And now… here I am, standing at the edge of something brand new.
Tomorrow isn’t just about stepping into a classroom—it’s about stepping into obedience, purpose, and a new season of becoming. Though I’ll be logging in from home, I know that God is already there—in every lesson, every quiet moment of study, every connection made, and every insight gained.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you a future and a hope.”
— Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
That verse has never felt more alive to me. This isn’t just about earning a degree—it’s about being prepared to walk more fully in the calling God has placed on my life. I believe He’s equipping me to serve His people in deeper, more intentional ways. This journey is His work, not just mine.
I don’t have all the answers. I’m nervous—it’s been 23 years since I was last in a classroom, and that was in another country. But even in the midst of the butterflies in my stomach, there’s peace… excitement… and holy expectation.
I can feel it in my spirit—God is doing something.
And I trust that what He has started, He will carry to completion.
He’s already gone before me.
He’s already provided.
And He’s not finished yet.
So here we go, Lord—
I’m saying yes again.

A Prayer for the First Day
Lord,
As I prepare to begin this new chapter, settle my anxious heart.
Take away the fear of failure and replace it with a quiet confidence in You.
Thank You for opening this door and for Your perfect timing.
Let every moment of learning draw me closer to Your purpose for my life.
Remind me that even when I study in silence, I am never alone.
Use this online journey to shape me, stretch me, and prepare me to serve.
Let Your Spirit guide every step.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
